Bible teachings on FALSE CHURCHES AND PREACHERS
I would like
to share some Bible teachings which I found compelling and certainly revealing. They do not refer to the term "narcissistic abuse" itself, but you'll see that the description of evil/satanic infiltration in the "church" has 'narcissism' all over it.
What I
believe makes Mr. Derek Prince (1915-2003) particularly appealing is not so
much his academic accomplishments, but the fact that in over fifty years of ministry, his
evolution as a human being is noticeable. In some of his teachings, it is possible to observe that he makes mistakes by being quite rude or giving too many personal
details about the people who were supposed to be part of the ‘point’ he was
trying to make. The interesting thing is that in the vast majority of times, HE
ACKNOWLEGED HIS MISTAKES/SINS and REPENTED IN PUBLIC later. According to
him, this was God dealing with him.
As human
beings, we will always have areas of improvement, I suppose this is what
encompasses life: the idea of improving ourselves. And we know we can only
pursue that through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, think
about the narcissistic “pastors” who are drowned in pride and arrogance. Do you
think there’s any room for God’s conviction? Do you believe there’s any room
for self-reflection whatsoever? If they believe they are “gods”, what for.
Narcissistic “pastors” love putting people down, humiliating, gossiping, threatening, harassing, lying, slandering and making false accusations, ironically, only to label the word “sin” literally everywhere, and then call it "rebuke", "discipline" and "sound doctrine". Pride, hypocrisy and lies orbit the
microuniverse of a narcissistic “pastor”.
Mr. Derek
Prince is a practical example that no preacher has to be "perfect",
but, yes, needs to have integrity, character and humility to be authentic, own
his mistakes/sins, and evolve continuously. I believe that is what having the Lord Jesus Christ as a role model looks like.

mind. You may well agree with a lot of points, and disagree with others as
well!
